Abstracts and Papers
Papers intended for the Conference proceedings might be technical papers, company and institution developments, cases studies, practical solutions or research in progress. Authors must submit an abstract (200 – 300 words). Abstracts will be reviewed by one or two members of the Scientific Committee. The abstracts will be reviewed for their clarity, usability and contribution to research and development. Papers accepted on the basis of abstract will be published online and in eISSN Proceedings.

Guidelines for abstract and paper writing
IMPORTANT:
Every participant who has paid the registration fee and has publications in Volume 1 (2020) will have the opportunity to submit a new, additional full paper in 8ICCGIS2022 Proceedings Volume 2.
The new participants can submit up to two papers. The new registration will be open in March 2022.
Each registered participant (from the previous registration and the new one) could present up to 2 papers published in Proceedings Vol 1 and Vol 2.
Registered participant, who cannot attend in person, could send up to 2 video presentations.
Proceedings
After review process, all approved papers will be published in e-Proceedings entitled “8th Conference on Cartography and GIS – Volume 2” with ©Publisher: Bulgarian Cartographic Association and ISSN: 1314-0604.
The Proceedings will be sent for indexation in ISI Web of Science and add to database of ResearchGate.
Journal of Cartography and Geoinformation
We propose publication in Cartography and Geoinformation, journal indexed in Scopus and other citation databases – ISSN 1333-896X Print, ISSN 1848-0713 Online – on the base of full paper review.

Additional payment:
Publishing accepted papers in the journal is free of charge, assuming that authors submit their manuscripts in standard English and Croatian. Authors who are not able to translate their papers into English or Croatian can make a request to have them translated at the following prices: translating from Croatian into English 105,00 kn (14 €), from English into Croatian 75,00 kn (10 €) per text page. Furthermore, authors whose papers are not written in standard Croatian or English can make a request to have them corrected at the following prices: 15,00 kn (2 €) for Croatian and 75,00 kn (10 €) for English, per text page. One author text page = 1500 characters, including spaces.
The full papers should also be send to 31 March 2022 to miljenko.lapaine@geof.unizg.hr and tbandrova@abv.bg with a subject 8ICC&GISpaper_your family name.
